Cinders 8", Gravel 1.5", Clay 3", 1" surface Mix. Ive got gravel and crushed brick. What are you using for cinders and surface mix? What size should I crush my brick. I like the idea of digging the area down then building it back up to the natural level. Do I need curbing around the court or will that inhibit drainage. The PT slab keeps the court perfectly stable and flat, even if the sub-base settles and moves. No more cracks, no more heaving, no more bird baths. The rubber surface is glued to the concrete base, it will last 25 years or more, guaranteed. With little maintenance. Beautiful. Easy to play on, easy to keep up. Why anyone would build an asphalt court is beyond me???
